Dani Daly is excited to join the team at Delta Sculling Center, as the deputy Executive Director, she is deeply passionate about the mission and the opportunities it creates for youth, veterans, and the wider community. For Dani, the water has always been a place of inspiration and renewal. Whether rafting, kayaking, or simply spending time outdoors, she finds lessons of perseverance, adaptability, and teamwork reflected in every current.
At home in Tracy, Dani enjoys life with her husband, Rob—a proud veteran, and their teenage daughter, Kennedy; their adult son, Madi, is an Outdoor Science Camp Teacher in San Bernardino County. The Daly home is never quiet with two rescue dogs and two rescue cats, who keep the whole family entertained and active.
Dani also loves hiking, camping, and sipping coffee by a fire—sometimes at a favorite campsite, other times right in the backyard by the family firepit. These moments of connection and reflection outdoors keep her grounded and remind her of the importance of slowing down and appreciating life.
Her passion for youth and families has guided much of her advocacy work. Dani has supported prevention and awareness efforts through the San Joaquin Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC), where she worked to strengthen protective factors for children and families. She has personally served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster youth, giving her a firsthand understanding of the challenges and resilience of young people in the foster care system. Additionally, Dani has volunteered with local programs that use creativity and community to help children grow, including community theater, where she supported young performers in building confidence and self-expression.
Professionally, Dani brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She has a strong record of organizational growth, community engagement, and strategic collaboration. At Delta Sculling Center, Dani is excited to combine her professional expertise with her lifelong love of the water, helping to expand programs that serve youth and veterans, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure that sculling remains accessible to all who wish to experience its benefits.
