Volunteer

Interested in Volunteering?

Volunteers are the backbone of our adaptive program, Oarbusters. Volunteers help in various ways including, but not limited to:

  • Helping adaptive rowers get in and out of boats
  • Bowing boats with an adaptive athlete during practices/races
  • Sitting next to an adaptive rower to provide instruction as needed
  • Assisting coaching for athletes on the water and on land
  • Rowing as a guide to lead blind athletes in singles/doubles for practices/races
  • Talking to families while athletes are on the water training
  • Carrying equipment to/from the docks for practices/races
  • Providing logistical support on the docks and at regattas

We need your help!

You do not need to be an active sculler to volunteer.
