NEW: STEM-to-Stern Two-Week Camp (FREE)

We’re excited to offer a full-day, two-week immersive camp experience at no cost to participants, designed specifically for students entering 6th–8th grade.

STEM-to-Stern blends hands-on learning with outdoor adventure. Campers will explore science, technology, engineering, math, and art while learning rowing fundamentals and water safety on the San Joaquin Delta. This is more than a camp—it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover new passions.

Spots are limited and will be filled through a multi-step selection process. Interested participants must first complete an application. Those who meet the age requirements will then be invited to participate in an interview to assess commitment and readiness. Final placement will be determined by a lottery among applicants who meet eligibility criteria and demonstrate commitment.

Three-Day Youth Camps – $150*

Our popular three-day camps are designed to give youth a more immersive experience on the water,
helping them strengthen fundamentals, build endurance, and grow confidence through consistent,
hands-on practice.

These camps are ideal for youth ages 11–17 who want to deepen their skills in a supportive and structured environment. Over three days, participants will learn rowing fundamentals while building essential water safety knowledge on the San Joaquin Delta. This is more than just skill-building, it’s an opportunity to develop confidence, awareness, and a strong foundation on the water.

Participants will learn proper rowing technique, safe equipment handling, launching and docking, and how to navigate real-world water conditions including wind, current, and boat traffic. Safety is a core focus, with instruction on PFD use, hazard awareness, communication, and right-of-way rules to ensure responsible and confident participation on the water.
Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration.

*Full and partial financial assistance available based on need – see application form.
